They are always fresh, not overly sweet or too doughy or too light, a perfect donut. The donuts are never rushed, given the time to rise and baked at the right oil temperature. The baker has been baking donuts for decades and knows what they are doing. A person can taste when the oil was too cold when the donut was bakes. The frosting was overly sweet or put on too cold. Not even enough time to cool before being served to the customer. At Top Donuts this isn't an issue. They do donuts right.

We got donuts from Top Donuts for our wedding through our caterer Poetry in Motion and they were SUCH A HIT! Absolutely delicious. They were devoured by our guests. I love top donuts, they sell out quickly so try to come early if you can. It's a family owed business in the Nob Hill shopping center, there is plenty of parking. Sometimes you can buy donuts as early as 5:00 am during the week. During COVID you can only purchase for take out. The donuts are delicious, and fresh. They have a big variety, they also sell drinks.
